About me

Moein Koushyar is a mechatronics engineer from Iran. He currently lives in Australia and is a Master of Project Management student at Edith Cowan University. After various work backgrounds in the field of engineering design and cooperation with companies, he is now the founder and CEO of a 3D printing filament production company known as Filabest brand in Iran.
I am a constant learner. There is no limit to learning and improving skills. I am an engineer with interdisciplinary skills and I believe in various mechatronics engineering specialties. I am an industrial designer who always admires creativity and has the greatest respect for science alongside humanity.
While studying mechanical engineering at university, I worked at the University Mechatronics Research Center. We built robots there and participated in robotics competitions, including RoboCup. At that time, I was designing and building robot hardware as a mechanical engineer.
After getting acquainted with microcontrollers and programming, new paths opened up for me and I did many projects in this field. So I could run and diagnose complete mechatronic projects.
After that, in my master of science in mechatronics thesis, I started brainstorming and making a power add-on for a wheelchair, and I continued my career. I continued my work in a dental equipment design and repair company and designed and developed two dental related devices. Going through the commercialization and production of devices introduced me to more production methods, industrial design and project management methods.

From the very beginning of the wave of open source 3D printers, I joined it and started making 3D printers. I provided 3D printing services and trained to work with it. For someone who loves new ideas, engineering and production methods, the 3D printer makes their life much more enjoyable.
To develop my work, I decided to play a more prominent role in the field of 3D printing and manufacturing and started a 3D filament production company in Iran. Today, this company is one of the important producers of filament in Iran.
After expanding my projects and founding my own company, I decided to study project management and chose Australia for new experiences.

What am I good at?
In addition to I do a bit of everything, I became more specialized in some things. I can say about design and modeling:
Do industrial design. I have designed many products so far.
Do 3D modeling and sketching. I can work with a lot of software and tools for modeling.
Prototyping, product testing and manufacturing with 3D printing. I can mold for prototypes. Make an electronic board and finish the job with patience.
I am familiar with production methods and I know more or less each of them.
I consider myself a lifetime student and years of experiences. I can quickly understand how things work and come up with good solutions.
I can design and execute mechatronic projects. Design an electronic board and program for Arduino and embedded boards. I have a background in C++, JavaScript and Python languages and I learn more whenever I have the chance.

As a self-employed person, I have the ability to graphic design, video editing and writing. I have a good experience with CorelDraw, Adobe premiere, wondershare, and the list goes on. Deciding to have my own business led me to work with wordpress and now I have a background in site design.
I am a repairman and specialize in repairing devices, appliance and instruments. I have a high focus on troubleshooting and I can make and replace them by myself even when spare parts are not available.
I love to solve problems with my own solutions in difficult situations. I think of all the ways, consult and delve deeply into all the professional and silly ideas. You will not hear the answer "it is not possible" from me. But if you do, rest assured, my answer is logical.
I love geeks and I like to spend time on things that not everyone does. I like ideas that find new uses for stuffs and use it where it's creative.
I like the era of retro devices era and following the path of technology in general; cassette players, gaming consoles, Ford model T and other old stuffs, to name a few. I'm still watching 8-bit video games. I love engineering history and enjoy how technology has evolved to evolve.
I'm good at learning. No one lives long enough to learn everything or to fit perfectly into the dream job that destiny gives them. So I try to integrate quickly and be the best option for my favorite job.
My happiness is that I am not afraid to learn. If I'm not good at something yet, I'll say it  with confidence.

What are my plans
I am currently studying project management at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia and my goal is to graduate.
Gaining experience and internship in the field of project management
Smart planning and development of my company in the field of 3D printer filament production in Iran
Increased skills in professional surface design in Solidworks and rhinoceros
Boost myself in programming, based on what I feel I need and need in my projects.
Increase communication
